Variations on Bach’s Bourrée (5th movement) of BWV 996 reflects the importance of time and place in which we do and say things. How change, as little as it may be, can lead us to a completely different future. This piece was my first conscious decision to explore my Argentinian and Latin American heritage, and intersect it with Western Classical Music, through the modification of the rhythm and duration of the notes from the original score by Bach.
